Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship is dedicated to teaching our students the importance of giving back to the community. Several times a year we will participate in a community service project where students will be asked to donate (if possible) or create something that will be given to a specific cause. This is a wonderful way to teach our students the importance of community and giving back to those who are less fortunate. On this page, you will be able to find information about our community service projects.
For the last several years, our school has participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Pennies for Patients campaign. For the 2016-2017 school year a school-wide goal of $1,000 was set. However, our students and staff at Penn Hills Charter School went above and beyond that total. We raised a total of $2,423.85. This would not have been possible without the amazing support of our students, families, and staff. Great job everyone and thank you for your support!
Our September 29, 2017, $1 Student Dress Down Day funds were donated to the American Red Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Thank you letter from the Red Cross: Red Cross Thank You Letter
