Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship (PHCSE) hosts Local Entrepreneurial Summit (LES)
March 29, 2017 – 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Continental Breakfast & Lunch Will Be Provided
For the first time in school history, PHCSE is working to gather entrepreneurs at all stages of business development to come together for the 2017 Local Entrepreneurship Summit. By hosting this event at our school we hope to teach our students ways to bridge opportunities that help us tackle global challenges together. Increasing access between local entrepreneurs and business owners allows for an exchange of ideas needed to create and innovate in business. At PHCSE, we strive to connect our students with entrepreneurs who showcase this creativity and innovation and fulfill our mission of unleashing the power to change the world, one student at a time.
2017 LES will introduce our students to inspiring entrepreneurs. PHCSE hopes to create new opportunities for investment, partnership, and collaboration; connect entrepreneurs and investors with local counterparts to form lasting relationships; and highlight entrepreneurship as a means to address some of the most intractable global challenges. Hosting LES at PHCSE will positively impact our scholars’ entrepreneurial spirit and allow them to see the talent, solutions, and opportunities that exist locally.
The summit will include a wide range of panels, lectures, pitch competitions, mentoring programs, and networking sessions aimed to give participants tailored opportunities to gain skill and relationships that will help their ventures grow. Within the Summit there will also be demonstration areas, experiential learning exhibitions, and opportunities to connect with industry experts.
During the event PHCSE students showcase their career tri-folds to local entrepreneurs, friends, and family. All local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to interact with our students, learn about their career choices, and hear their marketing pitches. All participants will have the opportunity to address local business owners and entrepreneurs during a Q&A session.
Are you a local business owner or entrepreneur who would like to attend our Summit? Limited slots are still available. Please contact Terri Williams at email@example.com to find out if your business fills a need!
